Organized by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society, the Summer IFF opened its 3rd edition on August 8th, and will continue until September 15th. A Decade of Love made their Gala Premiere at the Grand Cinema, Elements, tonight with stardust celebrities’ attendance. During the event, Ms. Angel Hon and Mr. William Tam of Famous Top Group Ltd. announced that, after Summer IFF, this film will also participate in the coming “Pusan International Film Festival”; all guests were delighted about the film’s achievement. 8 of the film directors also shared their visions about the film at the Greet the Audience Session inside the theatre so that the audience could enjoy the film with a better understanding.

“A Decade of Love” is a film that uses “sensations” as the theme. It consists of short stories directed by ten directors in Hong Kong, including Ms Aubrey Lam, Mr Chan Wing Chiu, Mr Mak Chi Sin, Mr Wong Ching Po, Mr Lam Wah Chuen, Mr Chang Wai Hung, Mr Toe Yuen, Mr Takkie Yeung, Mr Lee Kung Lok and Mr Szeto Kam Yuen. Each director exploit their feelings and interpretations towards love, sentiments, Hong Kong and the motherland China, showcasing sensational stories through the film footages. Moreover, the stories also demonstrate their passion for Hong Kong in the last decade.  “A Decade of Love” not only reveals the recent changeover in Hong Kong, but also displays the lifestyle and pace of the modern people in the 21st century.  Through the creative stories, the film illustrates an array of styles from different directors added with human touch.
